breaking free talking circles
Healing begins with being heard.
Breaking Free Talking Circles are intimate, culturally grounded gatherings designed for African Americans on the journey to live nicotine-free. These circles offer a brave space for participants to speak their truth, share lived experiences, and receive support without judgment.
What Makes It Unique:
- Grounded in Black cultural traditions of communal healing and storytelling.
- Facilitated by trained leaders with lived experience.
- Open to anyone impacted by nicotine use—whether quitting, thinking about it, or supporting a loved one.
What to Expect:
- Story-sharing and reflection
- Mindful listening and peer encouragement
- Tools for resilience, stress, and healing
“There’s power in hearing someone say, ‘Me too.’ In the circle, we reclaim our stories—and our strength.”
